watching a hollow knight playthrough while laying down in bed, lights off. my phone is on the pillow. youtuber encounters an enemy and i swear i see some kind of movement on my pillow above my phone. i sit up, trying to get a better look, and i see movement again. i grab my phone to turn on my flashlight, hoping its not what i think it is. because the universe is forever out to get me, of course it is what i thought, a spider. on my pillow. moving very fast.

the pillow the spider is on is a body pillow, laid longways across the head of the bed, with a blåhaj and livlig (ikea husky) on either side of a normal pillow laid vertically in the middle of the body pillow. my head is resting on blåhaj's and my shoulder is on the regular pillow. spider only like an inch away from my phone.

so i grab everything other than the body pillow and pull it away from the head of the bed. i turn the light on so im not relying on my flashlight anymore, and by this point im standing in the middle of the bed trying to figure out what the hell im supposed to do now. spider is running back and forth on the head of the bed, still VERY fast. i decide to sprint to the living room to grab the vacuum we have specifically for getting spiders. my bedroom door bounces against the wall from the force i opened it with. the spider is exactly where i left it when i get back.

i get it easily with the vacuum, and now i just have to lay back down like nothing happened. a cruel and unforgiving world....

im losing my fucking marbles out here. why does desandro's masonry only let me have one grid per page. i know its possible to have more. why doesnt it work when i do it??? why dont the normal jquery, javascript, or html initializations work for me???? i have to use this solution or else it breaks. hiding and showing images with a display:none class toggle always ends up breaking something different depending on how i used it. i hate everything. fuck the user i guess, you will get all my images at once.
